The universal task of shamans in any culture is to gladden the circle of life: by including all that is in our prayer, healing can ripple out to strengthen and raise up what is fragmented and broken in our community. Prayer is the natural heritage of everyone, part of the dialogue which we have with the sacred universe. It arises naturally within us as a precious gift, and no-one needs to feel exiled from it because they lack a sense of personal divinity, form, or creed. Natural, unconditional prayer frees us from religious constraints, allowing us to stand in the place of our true abiding to embody and mediate healing, so we can go beyond mere word formulas into the place of the heart.
On this new course, we will explore how natural prayer deepens our shamanic practice, giving it a breadth and inclusion that enables healing. We will approach prayer through the medium of journey, Systemic Ritual®, silence, song and mediation, working with the outpouring and regenerative sacred source of the universe in ways that anyone can use. We will be journeying alone, together and collectively. Anyone who regards themselves as a person of spirit, and who can journey fluently is welcome.
Systemic Ritual® is form of healing developed by Dutch shaman, Daan van Kampenhout. It works in community with aspects of family constellations and the prayerful work of shamanic healing. Using simple and universal maps that guide the archaic and powerful movements of the ritual, participants are enabled to collectively experience the strength, healing, and resources that can flow to them or through them in any traumatic situation. This shared experience gladdens the circle of life.
PLEASE BRING: a stone that you can hold in your hand easily (not a crystal); your rattle; a blindfold; a notebook and pen.

This course doesn’t overlap or repeat material I am doing elsewhere on this trip, and it is the first time I’ve offered in US.
